KNOXVILLE FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE TRAPPED RESIDENTS OF APARTMENT BUILDING BLAZE

Knoxville firefighters rescued residents trapped on the fourth floor of an apartment building fire this morning. Officials say the fire took place at the Barclay Apartments at 1616 Laurel Avenue close to the University of Tennessee campus. Firefighters arrived on the scene around 5:30 a.m. and the fire was out at 6:30 a.m. No injuries were initially reported.
