The Tennessee Volunteers scored twice in a 30-second span late in the game, using an onside kick to help escape a 13-point deficit, and then held on to stun Indiana 23-22 in the Gator Bowl last night. The Volunteers closed out coach Jeremy Pruitt’s second season with their sixth consecutive victory and won their fourth straight bowl, first since 2016. U.T. quarterback Jarrett Guarantano threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Guarantano was replaced by quarterback Brian Maurer for a drive. The freshman led the Vols down the field for a field goal, but nearly threw another interception along the way.
