CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT SOBRIETY CHECKPOINTS

The Crossville Police Department, working in conjunction with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, announced today they intend to conduct sobriety checkpoints Friday, December 27, 2019, from 6 to 10 p.m. central time. The checkpoints will be in the areas of Lantana Road, Peavine Road, Genesis Road and U.S. Highway 127, in an effort to put an end to impaired driving. Please use caution when driving in these areas. Do not approach checkpoints with your high-beam headlights on, and always slow down when approaching the checkpoint areas.
