FOURTH JUVENILE ESCAPEE FROM NASHVILLE DETENTION CENTER CAPTURED

Metro Nashville Police took the fourth and final juvenile escapee into custody yesterday. Police say 17-year-old Brandon Caruthers was arrested without incident at an apartment complex on Arbor Crest Blvd. off Bell Road in Antioch.

Caruthers and three others escaped from the Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville November 30, 2019.

Caruthers was arrested following tips provided through Crime Stoppers. A loaded AR-15 and several boxes of ammo were also recovered from the apartment Caruthers was in.

Two people in the apartment with Caruthers, 20-year-old Brandon Calderon-Sotelo and 19-year-old Catherine Woods are charged with being accessories after the fact and facilitation of escape.
