CROSSVILLE POLICE HONORS SEVERAL WITH AWARDS

The Crossville Police Department proudly recognized several officers and a civilian staff member with Officer of the Month awards, Certificate of Appreciation and Tennessee Highway Safety Office awards during ceremonies yesterday and today. The officers of the month recipients were recognized for their efforts and going above and beyond what is required in their job descriptions, as well as going the extra mile to help protect the citizens of our community. The T.H.S.O. award recipients were also recognized at the December T.H.S.O meeting, for their individual awards and the Civilian Staff Member received a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding job performance. In attendance were Crossville City Manager Greg Wood, Chief Jessie Brooks and Deputy Chief Chris Kendrick.

Officer of the Month September, 2019 – Officer Samantha Seay

Officer of the Month November, 2019 – Officer Tyrel Lorenz

Certificate of Appreciation – Admin. Secretary Sara Vandever

T.H.S.O. Beyond the Stop Awards – K9 Officer Joshua Mangas & Officer Koby Wilson and T.H.S.O. Cumberland Region DUI Officer of the Year Award – Officer Tyrel Lorenz

“Our staff demonstrates, every single day, how special they are,” said Police Chief Jessie Brooks. “Many, like these, often go that extra mile. They are a shining example of why we are a success.”
