A single vehicle accident in Cumberland County yesterday resulted in one injured. Deputies say a 2004 Mercury driven by 22-year-old Stella D. Conner of Bon Aqua, Tennessee was traveling south on Mayland Road near Funnel Creek Road when she lost control in a curve. The vehicle struck several trees before coming to rest in a ditch. While investigating a possible cause of the accident, the deputy observed three of the four tires on the car having little to no tread combined with wet roads from rainfall. Two small children in the car escaped injury.
