White County Middle School was placed on lockdown today because of a threatening email. Officials said the email was sent from the school to the White County School System. Authorities quickly identified the suspects and took them into custody.
“Although these situations are alarming, I want to assure you that White County schools are doing everything in our power to keep our campuses safe,” said Director of Schools Kurt Dronebarger. “Please use this opportunity to talk with your child about the seriousness of such communication and to discuss any problems they might be having with which we might be able to help.”
Investigators found no credible threat and the school day continued as normal.
