It’s not every day a former three time World Wrestling Entertainment world champion and 12 time world tag team champion pays a visit to a local football team, but it happened today. The Harriman Middle School football squad had a guest speaker at practice today. Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs (better know as WWE’s Kane) came to speak with the boys about his life story and offer them some words of inspiration and wisdom.

Jacons debuted in pro wrestling in 1992 in the indy circuit. He started with the WWE in 1995. In 1997 he became Kane, the brother of the Undertaker. Jacobs is still active with WWE

Jacobs was elected Knox County Mayor in August of 2018.

The Harriman Middle School football staff thanks Mayor Jacobs for taking time to come to Harriman to talk to the team.
