CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASES MONTHLY REPORT

The Crossville Police Department released their latest monthly report to be reviewed by the city council tonight. It states officers made 155 arrests in August, took 5 juveniles into custody and wrote 116 citations. Of the arrests noted, 18 were drug violations followed by 14 DUI arrests and 10 for public intoxication. Officers also responded to 118 accidents. Of that number, 11 involved injuries, 28 were without injury and 79 were minor in nature.
