A three vehicle accident early this morning in Roane County resulted in one injury. Troopers say a 2018 Toyota driven by 24-year-old Leisha M. Terry of Oneida pulled out in front of an oncoming 2007 Freightliner operated by 63-year-old Jackie J. Young of Wartburg on Highway 61 near Rock Bridge Road. The tractor-trailer ran off the road, rolled over, struck a utility pole and came to rest after hitting a storage building. The Freightliner was carrying a load of lumber that came loose and covered the highway. Another vehicle driven by 29-year-old Chase A. Ray of Harriman struck the lumber. Terry was the only one injured in the accident. She was charged with failure to yield.
