Lt. Commander James Storie, a Pickett County native and the son of the late Robert Crosier Storie and Eva Mullins Storie, is currently forward deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, located in the Horn of Africa. He serves in the U.S. Navy as a base chaplain. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
