MOBILE HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE IN ROANE COUNTY

Smoke could be seen for a good distance in the Blair community in Roane County this afternoon. A mobile home caught fire at 1640 Old Harriman Highway. Authorities say the occupants of the home got out safely. A cause is being determined. Crews from Midtown Volunteer Fire Department and Oliver Springs Fire Department responded to assist Blair in battling the blaze.
