Efforts to retrieve the reported jumper failed after several hours of searching the water last night. A smaller scale search  has been ongoing since daybreak this morning. Chief Washum says if anyone knows of a missing person in the area of Kingston or Roane County to call the Kingston Police Department at (865) 376-2081.
