Crossville police took out warrants against a woman Monday night after reportedly finding an illegal weapon in the vehicle she was driving. Officers stopped 26-year-old Brandy Virginia Braddam of Crossville for a non-functional brake light and a check revealed her license was suspended. A check of the car allegedly produced a metal container with multiple syringes, straws and several pills of different varieties. Also seized was a brass knuckles in Braddam’s purse. She was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a Schedule III drug and two counts of possession of a Schedule II drug.
