Crossville police responded yesterday to a report of a subject jumping in front of traffic on Highway 127 South. Officers came into contact with 36-year-old Shane Douglas Parks of Harriman who was described as disoriented. Parks supposedly told police he got out of a vehicle to use the bathroom and was left by others he was riding with. Parks allegedly told officers he used meth. He was arrested and taken to the Cumberland County jail.
