A line of thunderstorms moved across Middle Tennessee Tuesday afternoon blowing down trees in some areas and producing some nickel-sized hail but then the storms started to weaken as they approached the plateau. In Cumberland County the worst of the storms was from Lake tansi to the Midway area with frequent lightning strikes. Now the front is moving through and there’s plenty of good weather to come. Clearing is the story for Wednesday with a high near 82 and then Thursday through Saturday is looking Sunny with lower humidity and highs in the 80s. The next good chance of rain is 50% this coming Monday. We have a full moon coming Thursday night and it should be shining down brightly and lovely the next few nights with clear skies.
