CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES NEW HOLIDAY LAKE LEVEL POLICY

The Crossville City Council August meeting was short Tuesday night. After the Beer and Solicitation Boards met, the council passed the consent agenda. Some of those items included amending the 2019-20 FY Budget for payment of capital outlay notes concerning the radio communications system and for a CBDG Sewer Rehab. The Council also Okayed the purchases of a 2019 Ford F-350 for utility maintenance, a dura patcher for the Street Dept, and body armor and outer carriers for the Police Dept. In new business, Council Member Scott Shanks made a motion  to amend the current policy for dropping the water at Holiday Lake. Council members approved to drop the water every three years beginning October 1st through December 31st. And to drop the elevation four feet. The motion was unanimously approved.
