The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture recognized some of its top faculty, staff, researchers and extension experts at UTIA’s annual Awards and Promotions Luncheon held on the UTIA campus in Knoxville. Many of the awards are gifts made possible by past faculty, alumni and friends of the Institute.

Ones honored from the listening area included:

G.L. Carter 4-H Agent Award – Lynne Middleton, UT Extension, Bradley County

Tennessee Association of Agricultural Agents/Hicks Award – John Goddard, UT Extension, Loudon County

Charles and Julie Wharton Award of Extension Achievements – Gregg Upchurch, UT Extension, Cumberland County

J.E. Moss Achievement Awards – Greg Blaylock, UT AgResearch, Plateau Research and Education Center
