WYATT AND GUNTER CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED BURGLARY

Crossville police recently responded to someone trying to force their way into an apartment on Willow Wood Loop. A female told officers someone was banging on her bedroom window around 10 p.m. then shattered the window. The subject then fled the scene. Police found 57-year-old William Denton Wyatt who surrendered to them a short time later. Also discovered at the scene outside of the residence was 58-year-old Raymond Allen Gunter. Wyatt told officers he was trying to recover items promised to him. Wyatt was charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism. Gunter was arrested for aggravated burglary for being a participating party with Wyatt.
