A physical altercation yesterday in Roane County turned bloody. Deputies were called to a stabbing at a home on Duran Trail and while in route learned the victim left and was in a vehicle at Midway High School. Officers found the female victim  with a puncture wound in her lower leg. She told deputies that 47-year-old James Eugene Hawn allegedly stabbed her with a steak knife while she was under a blanket in bed. Hawn then reportedly took a cigarette he was smoking and burned her upper lip. The victim went to Roane Medical Center for treatment while officers went to the home on Duran Trail. Hawn was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and violation of bond conditions.
