A two vehicle accident in northern Cumberland County Saturday night resulted in two deputies being injured. Troopers state in their report a 2004 Honda Accord driven by an unnamed 16-year-old pulled out into the path of a 2017 Ford Explorer operated by 23-year-old Deputy Tyler Yoder on Highway 70 North at Creston Road. The impact sent the Explorer into a power pole and rolled end over end into a livestock fence then came to rest. The juvenile, Yoder and a passenger in his vehicle, 48-year-old Deputy Ted Monday, were reported hurt. The juvenile was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
