A Cumberland County sex offender found himself back behind bars late last week. Deputies came upon a car occupied by 26-year-old William Dakota Stamps-Hale in the parking lot of Liberty Market in Crab Orchard during closed business hours. A check not only revealed his license was suspended but allegedly a substance consistent with meth. Stamps-Hale was in possession of a cell phone he was not authorized to have and driving a vehicle that was not listed on his sex offender registry. Stamps-Hale was arrested, transported to jail and placed under an initial bond of $42,000.
