SEVERAL INJURED IN DOLLYWOOD TRAM ACCIDENT

Several people received minor injuries Saturday afternoon when a transportation tram was struck by a vehicle at Dollywood. According to authorities, the tram was stopped at a service road when it was struck from behind around 4 PM. Park emergency crews, along with the Pigeon Forge Fire Dept. and Sevier County Ambulance Service responded to the incident immediately. Many riding the tram received bumps and bruises and three people were transported to LeConte Medical center for treatment of minor injuries. An investigation is underway.

    I was in this tram accident and the story the news is telling is incorrect the tram was struck by another tram driven by a Dollywood employee and 30 people from the tram were injured and received Medical at LeConte Hospital so please get the true story out there

    I was in the accident as well. Alot of people were hurt pretty badly! I’m sure dollywood wants to down play the bad press. I was sent to the hospital because I’m pregnant and had a hurt back and neck and had to make sure nothing happened to my baby. I have a high risk pregnancy anyway. It was a horrible accident.
