On 6-13-2019 units of the Crossville Police department responded to Centennial Park for a fight that was in progress.

Upon arrival at the scene the physical altercation had stopped but people were still pointing at the dugout on the left side of the ball field.

Police went to the dugout and then onto the field where contact was made with several people that stated that Amber Adams and Tracy Adams had been involved.

Police made contact with Tracy Adams and began to speak with her in regards to the fight. Tracy Adams stated that the fight involved the Adams Family racing team.

Tracy Adams stated that her husband, Nick Adams was the coach. While on the field coaching Mr. Adams was being yelled at by Michelle M Brown “AKA” Missy Brown about being too hard on one of the children that he was coaching. Mrs. Brown was being reportedly belligerent and came through the dugout and onto the field where Mr. Adams was coaching. Mrs. Brown was still yelling at Mr. Adams when Tracy Adams stepped in and began arguing with Michelle Adams for being belligerent and yelling at her husband.

Michelle’s daughter Amber Adams then ran down the hill into the dugout and onto the field and began arguing with Tracy Adams for yelling at her mother Michelle Brown. During the
argument between the two females Amber Adams husband Nathan Adams was reported to have been inciting the two females to fight by yelling at his wife to “kick her ass” and did not attempt to break up the two. It was at this time that the females began a physical altercation.

During this physical altercation one child was smashed up against the chain link fence and his brother was trampled to the ground with Amber Adams allegedly stepping on the childs leg.

When the father of the children, David Patterson noticed that they were being trampled he ran in to help and attempted to push Amber Adams off off of the childs leg.  When he did, he was grabbed from behind in a choke hold by Steven Brown.

The fight was broken up before city units arrived, but officers on the scene described the ball field was in chaos and in order to restore civility, closed the fields on the Turner field
t-ball side.

It was then that Officers were able to begin gathering information and found that Mr. Nathan Adams, Mrs. Amber Adams, Michelle Brown and Steven Brown were the main cause of the fight and all four have been banned from Centennial Park indefinitely.

No charges have been filed at this time.
