Knox County authorities this morning released the identity of the man killed in a Saturday-night stabbing in Knox County.

Deputies found Adam Cole dead at a home on the 900 block of East Governor John Sevier Highway late Saturday night. He’d been stabbed multiple times after a physical altercation. Investigators said the altercation began on the front porch of the home.

The Knox County Medical Examiner, members of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and other officers responded. An autopsy will be conducted at the regional forensics center in Knoxville.

Authorities charged 22-year-old Robert Logan with second-degree murder. Logan has been taken to the Knox County jail.
