VANDALISM REPORTED AT HOME ON HIGHWAY 70 NORTH

///
Comments are Off

The owner of a rental property along Highway 70 North contacted Cumberland County deputies near midnight Saturday to report vandalism at the property. Hours earlier, he’d evicted a tenant and, when he went to the property after the tenant left, he saw the kitchen stove and sink had been taken outside, the kitchen countertops had been ripped off, the shower faucets were torn off and the water heater had been removed from the home.

The owner reported the countertops alone would cost $600 to replace; he did not have a total cost to repair the rest of the damage.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
