A man is in custody in Rhea County for stealing four cars and leading officers on a high-speed chase. Rhea County Sheriff Mike Neal says that they have captured the suspect Kendel Speegle. Neal says that deputies were called to Bob Long Road for a burglar report around 12:30 PM. Speegle reportedly drove the car out of the garage, drove to Meigs County and stole three other cars, one of which is in the river at Yuchi Refuge. Sheriff Neal said that no one was hurt during the incident and that Speegle has a long criminal history.
