It is officially a global phenomenon! This weekend, Avengers: Endgame has surpassed Avengers Infinity War, Star Wars The Force Awakens and Titanic to become the 2nd biggest worldwide highest-grossing film of all-time! The monster hit which came out of the chute last weekend breaking several records continues to be a juggernaut in the motion picture world. The film’s global take stands at $2.18 billion, roughly $700,000 away from topping the current champ, James Cameron’s Avatar, which has held the title since 2009. Endgame actually has a chance at becoming the first motion picture in history to top $3 billion. Chances are, the movie’s attendance will begin to steadily decline in the next few weeks with Detective Pikachu premiering this coming Friday, May 10 and Godzilla: King of the Monsters coming out at the end of the month.
