Last night, Rockwood police were dispatched to the Evans Heights Apartments for a report of a previously banned person on the premises.
When police approached him, 43-year-old Frederick Coleman gave a fake name, then took off on foot. A police had to deploy his taser to bring Coleman into custody.
Coleman was treated by EMS at the scene. He was charged with resisting arrest and criminal impersonation by giving a fake name.
He was also wanted for two counts of violation of probation and was served those warrants as well.
