KINGSTON POLICE ARREST “UNWELCOME” WOMAN AFTER CHASE

Comments are Off

Wednesday evening, Kingston police received a call about a unwelcome person knocking on the door of a Willow Brook Drive home. As deputies approached, they passed the unwelcome woman, 35-year-old Jessica Brooke Groover, driving a green truck.

Groover failed to stop at a stop sign, so officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Groover accelerated and engaged police in pursuit at a high rate of speed, on both sides of the road.

When she finally stopped at Scenic Drive and High Point Circle to avoid hitting another vehicle, Groover was charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
