Are you ready to rock?
Circle October 11-13 on your calendar and get ready for the Exit 111 Festival in Manchester. The new rock festival at Great Stage Park, the site of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, promises a loud, head-banging good time for all.
Organizers say 40 bands are on the schedule for the three-day music festival. Headlining the Friday lineup is Lynyrd Skynyrd. Def Leppard gets top billing for Saturday and Guns N’ Roses closes out the festival on Sunday. Sandwiched in between will be such notable performers as ZZ Top, Megadeth and Cheap Trick.
But it’s not just about the music. Other highlights of the Exit 111 Festival will include a circus, Red Bull Motocross stunt riders and a car show.
In case you hadn’t figured it out, “Exit 111” refers to the exit on I-24 that leads to the venue.
