Tuesday evening, the school maintenance director at Pleasant Hill Elementary School called the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Mary Kington reported unknown individuals had broken through the gate at the school, causing damage to the gate and damaging the football field.

The reporting officer contacted Cumberland County Schools Director of Emergency Management and Security Bo Magnusson, to advise him of the incident. Magnusson said he would review the video and report back.

Damage is estimated at approximately $500.
