Friday afternoon, a local man told Cumberland County deputies he’d returned home from the hospital to find someone had forced entry into his camper. The door was damaged and his .380-caliber pistol and keys to his shed were stolen. Suspects also stole approximately $1,000 worth of tools from the shed.

The victim recovered some of his tools from a neighbor, who said he’d gotten the items from another man known to the victim. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
