While patrolling the area of Miller Avenue late Thursday evening, Cumberland County deputies encountered 36-year-old Jeremy Johnathan Nobles of Crossville pumping gas at a local gas station. A warrants check revealed multiple active warrants. Deputies noticed in plain view a bag containing approximately 4.8 grams of meth in the passenger’s seat, along with several small empty plastic bags commonly used for packaging meth. Aside from being served the outstanding warrants, Nobles was charged with possession of meth. He was placed under $14,000 bond.
Deputies also encountered 26-year-old Kayla Michelle Clark of Crossville, who consented to a search of her purse. In it, deputies found three used syringes, a fourth syringe loaded with about 50ml of meth, and approximately 0.5 gram of crystal meth. Clark was arrested and charged with manufacture, sale or delivery of a controlled substance and placed under $10,000 bond.
Both were assigned court appearances March 25.
