Tuesday is looking good with partly sunny skies and temperatures near 60 degrees. Wednesday the clouds will begin to move in and that is going to lead to another big rain system we expect on Thursday that could bring over another inch of rain. Cooler weather will be moving in by the weekend with highs struggling to get to 50 degrees. Crossville picked up .05 of rain Monday morning and that system quickly came together early Monday morning. The weather models kept showing it to be a dry front and it was 8 Monday morning before the Weather Service even put showers in the forecast. So it was one of those crazy systems that you can just never see coming and some of the weather folks in Nashville put out some funny statements saying it just left them staring in the mirror wondering what happened LOL. This next weather system on Thursday May produce more flooding in Middle Tennessee as Nashville could get two inches once again but at least the threat of severe thunderstorms appears to be very low in our area and nothing to worry about.
