The subject vehicle was later spotted on Peavine Road, at Old Peavine Road. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Lesleigh Michelle Haun, was taken into custody. K-9 officer Niko was deployed and alerted to the presence of a narcotic odor. A search turned up two baggies containing meth residue.

Haun admitted having taken the vehicle, stating she didn’t think the owner would mind. She said she also took $60 from him while he was asleep. Haun was charged with theft and manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth. She was placed under $7,000 bond and is due in court March 18.
