Sunday afternoon, Cumberland County deputies were called to a residence on the 700 block of White Oak Road in Monterey for a report of a theft.

Two men had been doing work on the home from 8 a.m. to about 5 p.m. on Saturday; they secured everything when they left. Upon arrival about 3 Sunday afternoon, the front and back doors were unlocked, and an electrical cord that had been plugged into the space heater was at the front door.

Several items were found to be missing, including a space heater, a skill saw, three trim guns and a compressor. Value of the stolen items is approximately $1,220.

There are no suspects at this time, but an investigation is ongoing.
