All of the rain gauges have reported and rainfall totals for the past week are incredible. We had not seen rainfall like this in February since our Data began in 1880 . The highest total for the past 7 days is 13 and 1/2 inches near the northern border of Bledsoe and Rhea counties. A foot of rain fell in Farragut in Pikeville with over 11 inches in many parts of Morgan and Anderson counties. 10 inches of rain fell then the southern portion of Cumberland County into Roane County near Harriman. Of course these are just the totals from the official rain gauges so your reading on your home gauge may have been even more.
