Someone woke up yesterday morning a million dollars richer. And that someone purchased a Mega Millions ticket at a store in Morristown, according to Tennessee Lottery officials.
The player matched all five of the white numbers drawn in the Tuesday, February 19, drawing. The only number missed was the red Mega Ball. Had that matched, the ticket would have been worth $206 million.
This is the fourth million dollar-winning ticket sold in February – and the 264th such ticket since the Tennessee Education Lottery began in January 2004.
No information about the winner is available until the prize is claimed.
