After four weeks at No. 1, Tennessee has relinquished its top spot in the AP college basketball poll. After the Vols’ 86-69 loss to Kentucky Saturday night, they’re now ranked #5 in the AP poll. Duke is the new #1 team, with Gonzaga and Virginia right behind. Kentucky is now ranked #4.

The Saturday loss in Rupp Arena snapped the Vols’ 19-game winning streak, and gave the team their first conference loss – and only their second loss on the season.

The Vols host Vanderbilt tonight at Thompson-Boling Arena. Then they head to Baton Rouge to face LSU, on to Ole Miss. and then back home for a rematch against Kentucky next Saturday.
