The Crossville City Council addressed several items at their Tuesday night meeting. City Mayor James Mayberry presented the Student of the Month award to 7th Grader Vince Vitor of Martin Elementary. He then proclaimed Feb.26, 2019 as Spay Day. During the regular meeting, the council approved a contract with Cumberland Medical Center concerning blood draw samples used by the Police Dept., also approved funding for an additional full-time employee to be added to the Meadow Park lake staff, approved the purchase of a hands-free communications system for the Police Dept., and approved to buyout the contract of Crossville Airport Manager Chris Bennett.
