MINOR EARTHQUAKE RATTLES MORRISTOWN

Morristown residents who felt a slight tremble early this past Friday morning weren’t dreaming. The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 2.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded roughly two miles southwest of Morristown around 3 a.m. This was the latest in a number of mild earthquakes to hit east Tennessee in the past several months.
