Thursday is looking windy and warm with temperature setting records for the date, a high in the low 70s on the plateau expected. South wind gusting to 30 miles an hour. Lots of rain comes back Thursday night as a strong cold front moves through and by Friday morning we will be in the 30s and temperatures will only get up to about 38 on Friday, what a temperature change in 24 hours! If things go as expected Saturday we will see sunshine and 45 degrees in the afternoon and then rain for Sunday afternoon with temperatures in the mid-40s. The national high temperature on Wednesday was 89 at McAllen Texas and the low 22 below zero at Copper Basin Idaho.
