A domestic situation turned into an arrest involving drugs in Crossville recently. Police responded to a Baker Lane home where a male and female allegedly began an argument that became physical over a cell phone. Officers observed teeth marks on the man’s wrist and did determine through other investigations, that Charity Williams was the aggressor in the situation. A search of Williams’ purse revealed a brown wallet which held five clear, individually wrapped baggies that contained a substance that tested positive to be methamphetamine. Also confiscated was a set of scales and several empty baggies. Williams was charged with manufacture, delivery, sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
