CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT VANDALIZED, ITEMS STOLEN FROM CLAYSVILLE ROAD PROPERTY

A Crossville man reported theft of property and vandalism at a Claysville Road location. The incident was discovered Tuesday afternoon. The man told deputies someone damaged both hoods and doors on two of his track hoes and stole batteries, a wrench set and a battery-powered grease gun. Total of the stolen items was placed at $1,350. Damage to the equipment was estimated at $5,000. There are no suspects at this time.
