One man is dead after a fire broke out in a Sweetwater residence Saturday night. Crews responded to the blaze at 7 PM. Firefighters found the entire roof engulfed in flames upon their arrival. The fire was stopped and after making sure it would not spread further, crews entered the home and discovered one deceased male. No one else was at the home at the time of the fire. The Tennessee Bomb and Arson Squad were also called to the scene. Upon completion of an initial investigation, authorities believe the fire was intentionally set by the deceased man.
