RAINFALL TOTALS FOR 2018 SET RECORD IN CROSSVILLE

If you’re a resident of Crossville, and if you thought the city has had a lot of rain in 2018, you were right! In fact, a record rainfall of 74.88 inches was recorded in the city for the past year. Many in and around Crossville and Cumberland County were discouraged from mowing their lawns or angry at not being able to keep up gardening chores due to the heavy rain and flooding. The average rainfall for the Crossville area is just above 55 inches. The old record of 74.36 inches was set back in 1973.
