As has happened in years past, items belonging to or associated with the King of Rock and Roll are heading for the auction block. The auction will take place on January 8, during Elvis Presley’s annual birthday celebration at the Guest House at Graceland. The entire week, held in Memphis, is dedicated to celebrating Elvis’s birthday. He would have been 84. Fans can participate in the auction on-site and online. Items include concert memorabilia, clothing and jewelry worn by Presley. Also included is the sale contract of when Presley purchased Graceland, which has a minimum $25,000 bid but has an estimated value of $50,000 to $100,000.
