HARRIMAN SEARS CLOSING JANUARY 1

///
Comments are Off

After 37 years in Harriman, Sears Hometown Store will be closing Jan. 1, 2019.

After filing for bankruptcy protection last month and closing a number of large stores including one in Knoxville, Sears said that the small hometown stores would not be affected.

The store has been doing well and the Black Friday sales numbers were encouraging.

Catalog orders will no longer be taken at the store after the end of the month.

Everything in the store will be sold, starting at a 25 percent discount, dropping gradually until everything has been sold.
