BAND ROOM AT CUMBERLAND COUNTY HIGH TO BE NAMED IN HONOR OF TINNEL

The Cumberland County High School band room will officially be dedicated and named the “Steve Tinnel Band Room” this Friday (November 16, 2018) at 6 p.m at the school. Tinnel was a long-time music educator who passed away last year. Tinnel started his teaching career in Cumberland County in 1976 and took over the CCHS band program in 1982 until he retired in 2004. Tinnel also was known for organizing the Upper Cumberland Band Festival that is hosted by Cumberland County High School.
